Over the years, we’ve learned that exposure to asbestos is preventable, but without proper worker training, asbestos will continue to claim lives well into the future. Training provided in this course will help you protect your high-risk workforce from this notorious airborne health hazard.

 

Upon successful completion of this course, you should have a better understanding of how to:

  • Identify workplace conditions that could result in exposure to asbestos
  • Identify health effects associated with asbestos exposure, including the relationship between smoking and exposure to asbestos in the development of lung disease
  • Identify the control measures and appropriate actions to minimize the possibility of being exposed to or inhaling asbestos fibers
  • Identify your rights and responsibilities when working with materials containing asbestos

ASBESTOS HAZARD AWARENESS COURSE DURATION: Approximately 22 minutes

 

ASBESTOS HAZARD AWARENESS COURSE ASSESSMENT: Testing conducted throughout this online course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course twice if the pass mark is not achieved.

 

ASBESTOS HAZARD AWARENESS CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION: Upon successful completion of this online course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing.
