  • Process for acceptance, allowances, and approvals

COURSE TOPICS

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Define the new or updated terms of contracting employer, construction work site, serious incident, potentially serious incident, disciplinary action, and undue hazard.
  • Recognize 5 key topic areas that have changed in the Alberta OHS Act.
  • Recognize 3 key topic areas that have changed in the Alberta OHS Code.
  • Recognize 5 key topic areas that have changed in the Alberta WCB legislation.
  • Use self-assessment questions to assess whether each change might impact their organization.
  • Determine what additional resources, including courses, they need to fully assess the impact of the legislative changes.
