ONLINE COURSE TOPICS
Upon completion of the course learners should have an understanding of the following:
- Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals-worldwide
- Roles and responsibilities of manufacturers, importers, employers, and workers
- Basic classification of chemicals
- Labeling for shipped containers and the workplace
- Safety Data Sheet requirements (formerly MSDS)
Interactive exercises will help reinforce many key concepts.
GHS AWARENESS – AN INTRODUCTION TO GHS WITHIN HAZCOM TEST: Testing for the GHS Awareness course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course two times at no extra charge if the pass mark is not achieved. Students will download an online course handout .This will include a copy of the presentation, hazard symbol chart and a General Awareness booklet.
GHS AWARENESS – AN INTRODUCTION TO GHS WITHIN HAZCOM ONLINE CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION: Upon successful completion of this online course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing.
