Terms of Service

Refunds or Course Withdrawal:

Cancellation can be done up to 5 business days prior to the classroom based seminar for a Full refund. Cancellation shall be made both  in writing with the verbal phone conversation with the instructor.

 

Students who register within the 5 business days prior to the seminar can submit a request in writing (email or letter that is confirmed as received) to the Allstar Enviro Safety representative. Qualified substitutions of candidates can attend the program instead, with permission of the Instructor.

 

Students who withdraw the day before the class without substitution will forfeit their payment. Students who do not attend the course with no notice or are over 30 minutes late will forfeit their payment.

 

ONLINE seminars: Since the elearning programs are registered with an online provider, Allstar Enviro Safety cannot refund to those who decide to withdraw, following payment. Registrants can request a substitution or refund from the online provider who have varying rules about their terms of service. We suggest this be done within 5 business days.

 

Allstar Enviro Safety and it’s representatives assume the right to cancel or substitute a course in which minimum registration is not met or for unforeseen circumstances. We will make our best effort to rebook the program, when possible and to advise the students or employers of the cancellation or date change.

 

Late arrival or departure:

Most courses allow 20 minutes late arrival, as long as the instructor has time to catch up the participant during the course with missed information.

Lateness or early departure is not allowed in OSSA programs, such as OSSA Fall Protection, OSSA Confined Space or Orientations. Courses must be completed in their entirety with a passing mark on examinations to be certified.

 

Certification requirements:

Most courses require Government Issued picture i.d. on the day that the seminar is taken (ie- OSSA courses, Global courses, Enform, Global and OSSA courses have a closed book exam. Enform courses). H2S Alive requires a minimum 70% mark. OSSA courses require 80% minimum mark. For Astec Fall Protection OSSA, A 70-79% score will result in a Fall protection certificate that will be non OSSA.There are no refunds for failing exams and a charge will apply for rebooking.

 

Literacy:

Students for Global, Enform and OSSA courses (ie- Astec and ABCS) must have good written and comprehension skills in English to pass. No translators allowed.

 

Safetymom Terms of Service (“Agreement”)

Please read these Terms of Service (“Agreement”, “Terms of Service”) carefully before using www.safetymom.ca (“the Site”) operated by Allstar Enviro Safety (“us”, “we”, or “our”). This Agreement sets forth the legally binding terms and conditions for your use of the Site at www.safetymom.ca.

 

By accessing or using the Site in any manner, including, but not limited to, visiting or browsing the Site or contributing content or other materials to the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Capitalized terms are defined in this Agreement.

 

Intellectual Property

The Site and its original content, features and functionality are owned by Allstar Enviro Safety and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

 

Termination

We may terminate your access to the Site, without cause or notice, which may result in the forfeiture and destruction of all information associated with you. All provisions of this Agreement that by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

 

Links To Other Sites

Our Site may contain links to third-party sites that are not owned or controlled by Allstar Enviro Safety.

Allstar Enviro Safety has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party sites or services. We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of any third-party site that you visit.

 

Governing Law

This Agreement (and any further rules, polices, or guidelines incorporated by reference) shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Alberta, Canada, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.

 

Changes To This Agreement

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms of Service by posting the updated terms on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Service.

 

Please review this Agreement periodically for changes. If you do not agree to any of this Agreement or any changes to this Agreement, do not use, access or continue to access the Site or discontinue any use of the Site immediately.
