CSA FOR NON-DRIVING PERSONNEL COURSE OVERVIEW

safety mom online courseCSA stands for Compliance, Safety, and Accountability. It is a system for gathering data about drivers and carriers, and using that data to generate a score. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) uses this score to judge and compare safety performance.

What you may not know is how the job you do, as someone who doesn’t drive, affects your company and its drivers under CSA. Even though CSA focuses on drivers and carriers, you and other non-driving personnel in your company have an important role to play.

This course will start with a brief overview of CSA. The lessons that follow will discuss some of the specific ways CSA affects your job and the jobs of other non-driving personnel. It will also explain how you and others can have an impact on your company’s CSA score.
