COURSE OVERVIEW
Forklifts serve the needs of various industries, are used for a versatile range of tasks, and do work that would take many people hours to do manually. Operated safely, the forklift is a very useful piece of machinery. However, when operated carelessly, the forklift can become a deadly hazard. In this course, we’ll equip you with the general knowledge and procedures you need to operate this piece of machinery safely and efficiently and avoid the common hazard pitfalls associated with forklift use.
This course is designed to precede practical operator training and site-specific training.

- Chapter 1: The Forklift
- Chapter 2: Safety Features
- Chapter 3: Pre-Operational Inspection
- Chapter 4: Hazards and Risks
- Chapter 5: Basic Operations and Safe Movements
- Chapter 6 Travelling
ONLINE COURSE DURATION
Approximately 45 minutes
PASS MARK
A mark of 80% will be required to obtain certification. You will have three attempts to pass the course.
CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION
Certificate of completion will be provided after successful completion of the course.
