FOOD SAFETY BASICS ONLINE COURSE OVERVIEW OF CONTENT

This online Food Safety Basics seminar is instrumental in promoting prevention of food borne illness. It covers the importance of food safety.

 

The Public Health Agency of Canada notes statistics of about that  11 and 13 million cases of food-borne illness each year in Canada. Many of these illnesses can be prevented . Staff must  follow the safe food handling practices to prevent sickness and loss of corporate reputation.

FOOD SAFETY BASICS ONLINE COURSE TIMELINE: Approximately 140 minutes

 

FOOD SAFETY BASICS ONLINE ASSESSMENT

Testing Iis continuously conducted throughout this online course. This helps  to reinforce the information presented. A passing mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course twice. This would occur if the pass mark is not achieved.

 

FOOD  SAFETY BASICS CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION AND REGISTRATION 

Upon successful completion of this online course the student will receive a pass. Then, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing.
